A pioneer in resale fashion, Buffalo Exchange is a sustainable business that works to protect the environment by reusing and recycling clothing. In 1974, Kerstin and Spencer Block opened the first Buffalo Exchange in Tucson, Arizona, offering customers the opportunity to buy, sell and trade clothing. This idea of hand-selecting only quality, fashionable items and reselling them at fair prices in a clean, fun atmosphere revolutionized the retail fashion industry. Since its beginning in 1974, this family-operated company has grown to 49 stores in 20 states. It is still run by Kerstin Block and her daughter Rebecca out of their Headquarters in Tucson, Arizona, where they play an active role in supporting the local community.
